Laundry Facilities

Plan ahead.

Not all accommodations on the Quilotoa Loop will be able to provide you with laundry services and washing. Especially small family owned places or cheaper establishments will only use a washing stone for bedding, and may not have room to do your washing as well.

Only a few accommodations on the loop will offer a washing machine and dryer, and will charge you something extra for laundry service.

Do not start washing your dirty clothes and shoes in the regular sink as this may cause damage or blocking of the pipes. Always ask your establishment for advice. They may even let you use their washing stone.
